LHRMA Membership Surveys – An exclusive privilege of membership!
- A benefit of membership in LHRMA is the opportunity to participate in and then receive Free of Charge two surveys each year. These surveys are developed by and for the exclusive use of the LHRMA membership, and are the largest and most comprehensive surveys of pay and benefits in the West Michigan Lakeshore area. Use of the LHRMA survey data allows you to benchmark with other companies in our local market rather than depending on a larger mix that includes data from areas outside of your target markets. Only members who participate in these surveys are allowed to receive the results, and there is no extra charge—you can’t even buy them!
Details of these surveys are as follows:
Annual Wage & Salary Survey
- Member companies compile data in December and January of each year, with results distributed in March.
- Over 130 benchmark jobs are represented in the areas of production, clerical, technical, supervisory and management.
- Data is reported based on company size and industry type, and by various rate and range averages as well as variable pay.
Annual Policies & Benefits Survey
- Member companies are surveyed for this data in the late spring, with results published in the early summer.
- Three different areas are surveyed: Pay Practices, Health & Welfare Benefits, and Health Care Costs.
- Results are segregated between Union, Non-union, Clerical/Technical, and Supervisory/Managerial/Professional (Exempt) employees.
- There is a ton of useful data in this survey!
Participation in and use of the results of these surveys is restricted to LHRMA members only. You must participate in order to receive the results!
